Welcome to Ballad of Runes, the prequel to my game, Serene Shards! Ballad of Runes was a short game created to explain what happened to the clusters in the past. There's not a lot of things you can do in the game because as I said, it's mostly to explain the clusters' past.

Even though Ballad of Runes is the prequel to Serene Shards, it's still advised that you play Serene Shards first, as it explains what the clusters are, etc.

 - Arrow keys to move

- Touch the sides of the screen to move from place to place

- Click on den entrances to go into dens

- Press "n" to open up notes; arrow keys to navigate

- You can sleep by pressing the nest in the Fire cluster's den[You can only sleep at night and if you don't have a quest]

Just like Serene Shards, there's different endings. There are three different endings, though it's more like two. I'll leave you to discover the endings, but if you need help finding them, you can always ask for help!

There are three endings: Canonical Ending, Good Ending, Bad Ending

Q: I can't find all the cats!

A: Sorry, I know it's hard to see the entrances and exits! "There's a darker spot in the back of the den that you have to press in between Pixie & Zinnia, then there is another darker spot you have to press in between Wintergreen & May, then in that room there's a big opening you have to press behind Pepper then that's it and to leave you just keep heading right"

Q: How do I get this ending?

A: To get the Canonical Ending, simply sleep on Day 5. To get the Good or Bad Ending, talk to EVERYONE at ALL times.  If Pixie gives you her crystal on Day 3 you're doing it correctly so far. When in the rift, wait a couple minutes to get the Bad Ending, and escape to get the Good Ending.
